Nancy O'Dell's radio career started as a journalist and anchor for WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In the following years, she worked as a morning-news anchor as well as crime reporter for WCBD TV. O'Dell's stories in Charleston regarding the police's tolerance when it comes to DUI cases, prompted the State Law Enforcement Division to look into the matter.
